Innovative human resources social networking site HRM Today is being auctioned off through eBay, keeping with the online community’s vision of elevating the human resources profession through the use of Web 2.0 technology.
The wide-ranging network of collaborative, multi-author blogs, events, forums, and groups has nearly 1,200 members, along with a healthy presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, which boasts over 1,700 followers.
“We’re amazed at the organic growth of HRM Today since we started it last year,” said co-owner, Laurie Ruettimann, who with her partner, Lance Haun, believes the auction will appeal to human resources professionals, associations, or vendors who have stronger IT infrastructures.
“The site is poised for the next level,” she said. “Fresh ideas and framework will no doubt expand the community and translate into additional growth and revenue.”
The eBay auction will last ten days and include http://hrmtoday.com, http://blogs.hrmtoday.com, and http://network.hrmtoday.com, along with archived user data. There will be no reserve. HRM Today, LLC is a registered Oregon limited liability corporation.
