OnePlus One Mobile Phone

Techradar says “The OnePlus One offers Samsung Galaxy S5 performance for less than half the price. If that doesn’t make it attractive it also has a customisable OS and a 1080p display.”

OnePlus One Mobile PhoneThe OnePlus One is a low priced smartphone with premium features, in a similar vein to Google’s Nexus 4 and Nexus 5.

Techradar’s verdict is “The OnePlus One has got one of the best processors in the business, even if it is beginning to show its ages, backed by a hugely generous allotment of RAM, which means that it’s a seriously impressive performer.

That performance is helped by the CyanogenMod firmware, which takes the speed and intuitiveness of stock Android and adds a load of customisation options to the settings menu, should you wish to tinker.

Then there’s the 5.5-inch 1080p display, which shows everything off as clearly as you could hope for and all for a frankly unbelievable £219, $299 (around AU$320).”

Apollo astronauts on moon missionThere are currently around 8,500 images in the gallery but Kipp Teague of Project Apollo Archive hopes to have all 13,000 shots by the end of this week.

“The Project Apollo Archive serves as an online reference source and repository of digital images pertaining to the historic manned lunar landing program. The Archive was created by Kipp Teague in February 1999 as a companion web site to his “Contact Light” personal retrospective on Project Apollo. The Archive is also companion to Eric Jones’ comprehensive Apollo Lunar Surface Journal.”
