Dell has introduced a new monitor, the UltraSharp U2412M. The display features a 24-inch IPS panel with 1920×1200 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio and and LED backlight.
The use of IPS technology is geared for wide viewing angles and an 82-percent color gamut. The allows tilt, swivel, height, or pivot ajustment to landscape and portrait orientations.
Dell said the new monitor provides a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, with 8ms grey-to-grey response time and 300-nit brightness. Users can attach source devices via DVI-D, DisplayPort or VGA connections.
