Google Expands Print Ads Program

July 18th, 2007

Google has said it will expand the size and scope of its newspaper advertising program to include customers of its AdWords search-ad service. The Mountain View, Calif, company said its Print Ads program allows advertisers to buy traditional newspaper space in national and local papers within a single Web interface. The company said the program started in November 2006 with a test that included 50 newspapers and a small group of advertisers. Google said the program has grown to more than 225 newspapers.
