eBay awards £10m ad account to Albion

Internet Ad Sales Soared 35% to $16.9 Billion in 2006

Internet advertising sales soared 35 percent to $16.9 billion in the U.S. last year as marketers accelerated their pursuit of Web-site audiences.

Microsoft is paying $6bn (£3bn) to buy digital marketing firm Aquantive in its biggest ever acquisition.
