Santa Cruz – Police are investigating whether prostitutes are doing business online with provocative classified ads.
“It’s popped up on our radar screen,” Sgt. Loran Baker said.
Authorities are investigating at least one case in which someone offered services “beyond what the ad said,” Baker said, although he declined to provide details.
